Some of My Niche Websites & Domain Names for Sale!

I am selling off some of my websites in order to concentrate on fewer niches. I did not have time to focus on building traffic to these sites. But they do get some traffic. Most of these sites date from late 2008, early 2009. Some of these sites have made adsense and affiliate sales. However, to pull all that info together would take much time….

So for all of the sites please assume no traffic and no sales.

Weddings On a Budget – (http://www.MyLilWhiteDress.com) This is a beautiful wedding site. All original content. It is made to be static so you do not have to add content unless you want to. It has a fully integrated store, customized to fit the site, that will be easy to switch over to the new owner. Click on the Shop section to see the store.
One nice thing about this site is it is static. So you do not have to add new content however, you will have to drive traffic.
I have also done keyword research and will provide the new owner with keywords that will work well for the site. In addition I have some other goodies that go with the site. – $247 (SOLD)

WorkatHomeMomCenter.com – (http://www.WorkatHomeMomCenter.com) Made for Adsense site, the articles here were used once previously. This site has a lot of potential for adsense income. Set up to be static so little work involved but will need promotion. – $77.00  (SOLD)

Eco Friendly Living – (http://www.MyLilGreenDress.com) This is a green site offering advice on going green. Most of the content is original. Some is rewritten PLR. I can set it up to pull in content and be an auto blog. It can also pull in products from Amazon automatically.
Some of this was written by a freelance blogger who share in the profits from this sale. – $127.00

Advice on Relationships – (http://www.MyLilRedDress.com) Hot relationships niche. Original content mixed in with articles from directories. This site is set up to pull content from Amazon and directories and can be on auto pilot. Some of this was written by a freelance blogger who will share in the profits from this sale – $87  (SOLD)

Tips for Travel – (http://www.MyLilBlueDress.com) This is all PLR and or articles pulled in from directories. Can auto pull in content and products. Great start for a travel blog. – $77  (SOLD)

My Dressworks.com – http://www.MyDressworks.com – Cute site made to support other sites. Can be turned into a dress site with Amazon products. From late 2008. Negotiable

HemorrhoidInformation.org – This is a keyword rich domain name that redirects to a CB product. $25.00    (SOLD)

Make Money with US Free Ads

US Free Ads is a site where you can buy and sell merchandise, but it is also a great way for a work at home mom to earn extra income and possibly a lot of income.

US Free Ads offers 3 types. Free, Gold and Platinum. You will need to have a gold account at the very least which is $10 per year. A platinum account is $10 a month but allows you to use links easier, include more photos and place unlimited ads which is they way to make money with US Free Ads.

Sign up for an account with US Free Ads.

Go to clickbank or another affiliate company and sign up for a free account. Pick a product to sell that is selling well and create a link to the product.

Next come up with key phrases that describe the product. Go to google and put the key phrase in the search box in quotes. This shows you how many others are competing for this same key phrase. Only pick a key phrase that has under 5,000 in competition for US Free Ads. Higher searched terms are unlikely to get indexed at Google with US Free Ads and you will not make money with US Free Ads.

Place your ads on the US Free Ads site. Include your key phrase in the title and throughout the body of the ad. Include your link at the bottom. Be consistent and place ads often.

Keep in mind that you do not make money with US Free Ads from people finding the ad itself. You make money if Google indexes your US Free Ads ad high in the ranks. People will see the key phrase, click on your US Free Ads ad and then hopefully click the link and purchase the product. So it is important that you use a key phrase with under 5,000 searches.

It’s important to look over each work at home company carefully to determine if it may be the right solution for you. Some work at home call center employers pay an hourly wage. Others pay per minute you are on the telephone. Some consider you an employee, others view you as an indpendent contractor and you must pay your own taxes. You will also want to put in an application with more than one company as getting a work at home call center job is very competitve.

The first step is to examine each companies requirements. You will need a computer and a landline. Check the requirements in the FAQ section for each employer using the links above.

You can also google “Work at Home Employers” to find more ways to get a work at home job. Just remember that legitimate work at home company will not ask you for money except some will require that you pay for fingerprinting, a credit check and possibly drug testing.

The only negative part about The Super Affiliate Handbook is that you will either have to read it online or you will have to make a copy of it on your printer.  At one time the book was available in hard copy but that is outdated. The latest copy is only available online and definitely worth getting as it has the new information you need.  Rosalind does send updates to the handbook so this is one of the reasons its only available as an ebook.

Join the Biggest Yard Sale in the World at eBay

I remember my first sale at eBay. It was little, worn red book with library markings. I had no photo, just my words to describe it. I was in shock when the bidding ended close to $100. Of course the book was an old, rare text on magic. It was great to pass it on to someone who would cherish it, make money and get it out of the house!

I was hooked after that and grabbed everything I could and sold it on ebay, short of my kids and hubby. eBay can be an exciting place to do business! The first step is to sign up for a seller account at the eBay website . You will need a PayPal account to accept payments also. Then follow these steps:

1. Begin by listing items that you have around your home. This is the cheapest way to get started at eBay. Always research your item so you know what you have. I once listed a mug on eBay and started the auction at $4.99.  I didn’t research it. Happily I had a good description and title and it sold for close to $150.

2. Prior to listing an item, look on eBay at completed sales to see what the item has gone for in the past. If it isn’t selling, don’t waste time listing yours.

3. If the items is selling, but there are lots of them, consider adding a little extra to make the sale more valuable to the buyer.  A sleeve of golf balls with a golf club auction etc.

4. List the item but keep in mind, that you will have both Paypal and eBay fees. You want to make sure you will be covering your expenses PLUS making money.

5. If you decide to use “Buy It Now”, think of a price that will make someone SNAP and just grab it. 

6.  When you list your item, count ahead to see when it will end. Think of the ending time of your eBay auction. If it is an item for a teen, aferschool hours are great. Evenings on Sunday are a peak time to sell goods.

7. Always factor in shipping fees and how you will ship your items. Buy mailers in bulk (eBay is  a good source). Pick up free boxes at the grocery store etc. The less you pay on postage, the more you make.

8. Ship items promptly and package carefully.

After you have a few auctions under your belt, you may want to consider going to thrift stores, tag sales and other places to purchase more for resale. You can even branch out into selling items on eBay for other people for a percentage of the profits!

Sell Used Electronics Online – Make Easy Cash

You can sell used electronics online and make easy cash. A number of online companies will pay you for your old laptops, cell phones, DVD’s, gaming consoles, PDA’s, cameras and other gadgets.

Selling the items is simple. Start by gathering up all the electronic gadgets you have that are no longer being used. Include all instruction manuals, installation CD’s, cords and other accessories you have for the gadgets. Though you don’t always have to have the accessories it will usually increase the value when you sell used electronics online.

Select a company that buys used electronics online. I recenty used Gazelle At the website type in the name of the gadgets you have in the “Find Your Item” box at the top of the page. Once you have located the item, answer the questions to get your price offer. For example if you have a DVD you will need to check off if it is functional and includes the original case. If you have a laptop you will need to indicate the specs such as operating system and amount of ram.

Once you have entered the details click on the calculate button to sell your used electronics online. Gazellewill make you an offer. In some cases if the item is dated or not wanted Gazelle will not offer cash but will offer to recycle the item.

In addition to cash, Gazelle will provide a shipping label so you can ship the items to them for free.

In some cases you may find you can sell used electronics online and make more money by listing at Amazon or ebay. You will have to decide if the listing, shipping, and other fees Amazon and ebay charge are a better deal or not.

Keep in mind that electronics date quickly. The faster you sell your used electronics online the more money you are likely to make and if you wait to long they will probably not be worth anything.

I decided it was an easy way to sell gadgets I wasn’t using and recently got a price on an old laptop and cell phone. I will update the post once the transaction goes through. This is a great way to sell used electronics online, make easy cash with something you are not using and recycle.

Make Money with Photos Online!

One of the things I love about working online is how I can do something and keep getting paid for it months later.  For example, I write for an online content site where I am paid by ad clicks.  Though I have been focusing on my websites lately and haven’t written for the site in a while, I still earn several hundred a month of residual income from the articles I wrote months ago! Read about that here.

Another sweet way to earn residual income is to make money with photos online!  Recently, I have been working on a new website and I need beautiful photos. I purchase “credits” and download the photos as I need them from photo sites.  As I downloaded them I noticed that many of the photos, had been downloaded over and over. One of them 1000 times! Each time the photo is downloaded the photographer earns $. The amount the photographer earns varies by site but 50% is normal. If the photo downloaded was 4 credits and each credit was $1, the photographer would earn $2,000! If the photographer had 100 photos on the site, which would be easy to do, earnings could be substantial!

And it is not that hard to take some great photos that earn money. You may even have photos you already took that could be earning you money. One idea is to study the photos that are on the site and see which ones have been downloaded the most.  Think about who pays for photos;  a lot of time it’s businesses.  What do they need photos of? Well as I browsed the photo sites I saw pictures of attractive models doing things like eating healthy foods, exercising, attending a meeting etc.  Companies need photos like this to illustrate their products and what they do.
