Affiliate marketing is one of my favorite ways to make money online. With affiliate marketing you sell products for a company. You do not have to ship the products or charge the customer, that is all done for you. You simply have to share the product with the potential customer. If they click thru your link and make a purchase you will be paid a commission. In order to become an affiliate you will need to be able to share the products. You can do this on your own websites, on free blogs, through email and social media like Twitter or at content sites such as Infobarrel where it is allowed.

When selecting an affiliate marketing company, you will want to look for a company that has been in business for some time. You will want to associate with a company that pays on time and offers good support. It is a good idea to use several affiliate companies but not so many that it gets confusing. Keep in mind that most affiliate companies do have a minimum amount you have to reach before you hit payout.

Over the years I have worked with a number of different affiliate companies. Surprisingly, some of the more popular ones were not my favorites. The popular Commission Junction is an affiliate company I did not have success with. Though I made several sales with them, I did not make them in the time period they wanted. This is one of my favorite affiliate sites because I know I can find almost anything I want to sell on there. If you opt to try it, I highly recommend The Amazonian Profit Plan.
