Selling services is an easy way to make money online once you get the hang of it. The first step is to decide what kind of services you have to offer. Then you can select the best site to sell them from.
Think about the skills that you have. Can you create graphics, write articles, take photos or make videos? If so there are plenty of places where you can make money online.
To get the most from selling services it will help to find forums and other sites to give you an idea of tips and pricing. If you are signing up for a site that pays you directly such as Demand Studios you will be paid on the date they pay out. If you are selling services yourself, you will have to decide if you want to charge partial or full upfront fees or wait for payment till the task is completed. For private negotiations I always recommend charging at least the partial payment upfront. I personally usually charge the full amount upfront and have charged clients several thousand dollars in advance for privately negotiated work.
Take a look at the list of services in the categories sections to get more detail on the different types of services you can offer and where you can offer them. Keep in mind that a host of sites have sprung up in the past couple years where you can get your feet wet, gain some experience and learn what sells and what doesn’t. These sites like Fiverr are a great way to get started. Check out my article on Fiverr.
It is important to focus on selling services so you can build a reputation and build your business. It is easy to get distracted when you are working at home. Set daily goals and work to accomplish them.
You can easily make a good income selling services online.
